David Crighton gives back to the Bloor West Community

Here I am pictured with Linda Symsyk at the Swansea Historical Society meeting March 5th, 2014.  Linda met me at an Artists Walk a few years ago and thought of me when the Committees thoughts turned to how to raise funds for the Howard Gate Centennial Celebration.  She in turn introduced me to Cheryl Hart, the Colborne Lodge Museum Director.

She in turn introduced me to Cheryl Hart, the Colborne Lodge Museum Director.  Cheryl asked me if would do one of my famous collage wall prints of High Park for them to sell to raise funds for the event on March 23rd starting at 2:00 pm.  I said SURE - I 'd love to help.

I had a lot of fun at the meeting and I think the attendees enjoyed themselves when I marched up the aisle - Rod Stewart with a Queen's Guard Tunic.

I even made a sale, a portion of which goes to Colborne Lodge!
