Toronto Police Services (TPS) How Can Commissioned Art Work Serve You!

This month, David Crighton Art is focussed on celebrating the vital role  Toronto’s Police and Fire Services play in maintaining safe, thriving communities.  I love doing commissioned pieces that commemorate the service of the men and women who contribute so much to our lives here in Toronto and across Canada.  They don’t often get the recognition or the thanks they deserve, but when I’m asked to create customized art in recognition of police officers and firefighters, I feel like I’ve been given the opportunity to express my gratitude for their service and dedication to all of us.

If you are looking for a unique and special way to commemorate a milestone such as a retirement, a long service award, or the outstanding contributions made by a colleague or a loved one in Police and Fire Services, or for any other reason, consider commissioning a custom piece of art.

Why not commemorate a special time, place, or achievement for someone you appreciate or care about with a piece of art that reflects something personal to them?

TPS 42 Division, preliminary sketch

I am very excited to be working on a set of personalized art for Toronto Police Services, Division 42.  I have the honour of creating original art work that will be given as gifts to their retiring officers this May at Division 42’s annual retirement celebration.

Officers Julie Mahoney and Catherine Sahli head up a committee dedicated to creating lasting memories for the men and women who have devoted themselves to the service and protection of the community they serve.

Each retiring officer will receive their own unique original art work.  Each piece will be personalized with the officer’s name, badge number, and service dates.

I am proud to be part of celebrating the contribution and bravery of the officers retiring from Markam Division 42.  Congratulations and thank you to this year’s retirees!
