#AMA Mondays - April 27, 2015  "What new  Toronto art work have you been working on recently?"

Hockey Locker Room, commissioned by Christine Petroff for her family hockey Shrine

"I had some artwork commissioned by David of the @MapleLeafs Locker Room.  As well I purchased the Maple Leaf Gardens artwork of the front of the building.  David put my sons name on the marquee.   When I brought the artwork home, I was a bit surprised by their reaction when they first saw it.  They were quiet.  There was no rush of emotion and "wow" but quiet  They told me that they were truly taken aback by the artwork and how beautiful it was.   They took some time to take it all in.  The truly do love the work and cannot wait to hang it up in our family room." April 30th, 2015 - #TBT Thursdays

Much Music VJ Laurie Brown and David Byrne
Laurie Brown, a resident of Bloor West Village, was one of the original Much Music VJ's back in @CITYTV s early days.  With Moses Znaimer at the helm. Denise Donlan, Jeanne Beker and J.D (John) Roberts - quite the talented bunch.  Not to mention her guest that day, Talking Heads David Byrne who was on the cover of Time Magazine that week!   Not bad for a days work Laurie!

Traffic, traffic, traffic.  Under John Tory, there seems to be a focus on managing traffic better.  It's about time.  Who else feels that city planning in the GTA has taken a back to development at any price?

"I love the use of the colours as you can feel life. At first the art captured my interest and then the name Frankie Lasagna. I worked with Frankie's Mom in another career and remembered years ago that she had started a restaurant with her son. As it turns out if is a short walk from my daughters home so I will go and enjoy the atmosphere and food. When will the art piece be completed? " Penny Richmond, Owner, Humanisitic Fare Inc
