Today, we have the start of the Canadian National Exhibition! This is Canada’s largest annual community event that showcases the diversity of Toronto and the region. It’s one of the 10 largest fairs in North America, and in 2014 the CNE attracted 1.43 million visitors over the 18 days of the fair. This distinguished fair came from a history that started in 1879 that was then called the Toronto Industrial Exhibition. Now, the exhibition showcases everything from food, animals, exhibits, and parades to air shows, international performers, sports, as well as stage, stunt, and talent shows.

This again, is another chance to capture the city in a showcased setting with a print from David Crighton Art. Much of the architecture and art of the area can be seen in some of the exhibits of the CNE, and what better way to immortalize this great event with a poster, print, or gift card.
As well as the CNE, we have many of the events at the Molson Amphitheatre. Some of the events coming up is the country-rock band Blue Radio on the 22nd of August, and the Family Channel Big Ticket Summer Concert: Becky G., The Next Step Dancers and the Vamps on the 23rd of August, the punk rock group 5 Seconds of Summer on the 25th of August, and then to round out the list is Lenny Kravitz on the 26th of August. Many, many more great shows and concerts to be had the amphitheatre so be sure. Remember to read up on all the great events coming up in Toronto here and grab some great art from David Crighton Art.
