Toronto Neighbourhoods Wall Art | Windsor Arms Hotel, Toronto by David Crighton

David Crighton Art

The Windsor Arms located at 18 St. Thomas St. in the heart of the Yorkville neighborhood. The Toronto International Film Festivalwas founded in the hotel in 1976, and the hotel's involvement in the Festival continues to this day.

Crightonism: This particular artwork was initiated by a client whose friend was to be married in the hotel. I can only imagine what that would have cost as this is one of the most exclusive establishments of it's kind. I had dinner there once and found myself seated next to one of my tennis idols, Rod Laver. I didn't say a word to him until I was about to leave and he graciously gave me an autograph "Good Luck, Rod :)"

David can personalize your housewarming, birthday, anniversary, wedding, Christmas gift or souvenir of your visit to Toronto upon request for $25 - $50.
